Tanmia 360 and Libya Build - Derna humanitarian aid update:
In the 14th edition of Libya Build which premiered in Benghazi on 2nd of October, we have partnered with the NGO organization, Tanmia 360 with the aim to install a fund box collecting donations centered to support the afflicted post the tragic natural disaster that occurred in Derna as well as the neighbouring areas in Al Jabal Al Akhdar district in September of this year.
The humanitarian act performed by Tanmia 360 within Libya Build encouraged all event attendees to participate in a noble endeavour and support the recovery and relief of the victims of the catastrophic floods. This resulted in an estimate of 88K LYD (18K$) collected in donations on-site and live at the Libya Build, dedicated towards the urgent relief of the citizens in need.
In addition to the active donation box set at Tanmia 360’s stand, they had set up a full schedule of conferences under the title: The Platform for Economic Development, which welcomed key figures in the Libyan economy, including (some of the names of speakers), to participate in industry talks and keynotes related to the topic of the humanitarian aid towards Derna and its neighbouring areas. Moreover, the conference centre welcomed listeners from all over the venue who took interest in over 10 sessions that happened over the 4 days of the event.
As we conclude the 14th edition of Libya Build, we look forward to the continued support and solidarity of all involved in this noble cause, knowing that together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by adversity. Anticipate the upcoming editions of Libya Build in Tripoli and Benghazi in 2024 with more action and dedication towards the future of Libya.
